I had a really nice time playing in Gijon, Spain with local musicians Felix Morales (drs), Jose Ramon Feito (pno) and Tony Cruz (bs). A great vibe all round and hopefully we can do it all again soon.
It's a busy summer and I yesterday played the "Down with Jazz" festival at the Grand Social. Dublin. Thanks to all at IMC for putting together another great weekend of music.
Delighted to confirm a couple of upcoming dates for HB Quartet with Cello Ireland. We play the Galway Jazz Festival on Saturday October 7th at the Lally Theatre @ 8pm. On October 16th we play the Sugar Club in Dublin, a Cello Ireland double bill, Bowie to Buckley, and will also feature former David Bowie guitarist Gerry Leonard. More events and details to follow...
